learning for all preschoolers.
Established in 1974
Serendipity Preschool is a private, non-profit preschool located in Norwalk, IA. We share our space but are not affiliated with Norwalk United Methodist Church. We have been proudly serving Norwalk area families since 1974.
Our Classes
We ​offer part-time preschool for children ages 3, 4, and 5. Below are our current classes for the 24-25 school year:

3MW - This 3-year-old class meets Monday and Wednesday from 7:55-11:00am

3TTh - This 3-year-old class meets Tuesday and Thursday from 7:55-11:00am

4AM - This 4-year-old class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:55-11:15

4/5PM - This multi-age 4- and 5-year-old class meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00-3:00

5's - This 5-year-old class meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:55-11:15
Universal Preschool
In 2009, Serendipity Preschool began partnering with Norwalk Community School District to offer Universal Preschool. Under this grant, awarded to the district by the State of Iowa, children who are four-years-old on or before September 15 of the school year qualify for free preschool. We work closely with our community partners involved to help provide high-quality preschool for all children before entering Kindergarten.
